WELL DONE

Overlooking the historic arcades framing Piazza della Libertà, in the heart of Cesena, the WellDone restaurant is much more than a simple place for dining: it is a project with a strong social value, designed to promote the work inclusion of people with disabilities, offering them a concrete professional context integrated into the daily life of the city.
Starting from this vision, the client requested a careful and targeted intervention, able to combine functionality and accessibility within a protected historic building, while maintaining a strong aesthetic identity. The project included a complete redistribution of internal spaces, aimed at hosting all functions necessary for bar and restaurant activity, from operational areas to kitchens, up to sanitary facilities, ensuring the elimination of any architectural barriers.
One of the most significant interventions involved the installation of an elevator system, achieved through the creation of an opening in the existing floor slab: a technical solution designed to maintain the structural integrity of the building, interacting with the preexisting elements without compromising the architectural reading.
The interior design, developed in parallel with the architectural project, focused on contemporary materials, essential finishes, and lighting designed in minute detail: the result is a welcoming and inclusive space, capable of accompanying users from breakfast to dinner, within a dynamic, warm, and accessible atmosphere.
WellDone Cesena thus represents a virtuous example of how architecture can become a tool for inclusion, translating a clear and courageous social vision into built space, in perfect harmony with the values of the urban community in which it is located.
