MARECO LUCE RESTYLING

A comprehensive renewal intervention that marked a turning point in the history of MarecoLuce, one of the leading Italian companies in the lighting industry. The objective: to transform the historic headquarters in Via Santa Croce, active since 1973, into a container consistent with the contemporary values of the brand and its projection towards the future.
The project masterplan embraced every aspect of the company’s renewal, with a view to architectural and identity rebranding. The intervention included a functional reorganization of the internal spaces, redefining offices and areas dedicated to client reception, and a renewal of the external envelope through an exterior design project that gave the building a modern, dynamic, and perfectly recognizable image.
The theme of light, the lifeblood of the company’s activity, has been the guiding thread of the entire concept. During the day, the alternation between dark textured façades and monumental entrance portals creates a game of sharp and sophisticated visual contrasts; at night, the headquarters comes alive thanks to a custom-designed architectural lighting system, transforming the building into a true three-dimensional showcase of the product.
To complete the project, the external courtyard was also entirely redesigned to optimize vehicular and pedestrian flows, improve accessibility, and enhance the relationship between the building and the external space.
A project that combines design, functionality, and visual identity, capable of translating the company’s evolution into contemporary architectural forms full of meaning.
