Located within a multifunctional complex on the outskirts of the urban center of Cesena, the Amedic Polyclinic represents an exemplary functional conversion. A space originally intended for different uses was completely redesigned through integrated planning, capable of precisely responding to the needs of the healthcare sector, without altering the load-bearing structure or the existing façades of the building.
The client requested a comprehensive project, including architectural, plant, and interior design aspects. At the center of the intervention: the operational functionality of the spaces, the ergonomics of the furnishings, and the definition of an innovative and distinctive image, capable of characterizing the polyclinic from the first glance.
The three-dimensional study of the volumes allowed for the modeling of balanced, essential, and functional environments. The clean lines, chromatic research, and application of the formal rigor required by healthcare environments combine with a contemporary aesthetic, generating a welcoming, orderly, and highly recognizable space.
Great attention was given to the usability of the spaces for users with reduced mobility, ensuring full accessibility to all areas in accordance with current regulations. The entire polyclinic was also equipped with a lighting system designed to ensure maximum visual comfort for both healthcare staff and patients.
High-quality materials, attention to detail, efficient plant systems, and a modern design vision are the distinctive features of this new facility dedicated to private healthcare. The Amedic Polyclinic presents itself as a functional and at the same time iconic space, symbolizing an advanced and multidisciplinary design approach.
